Meet Executive Director, Kristen Stiffler

Director Stiffler was appointed by Governor Kim Reynolds on April 17, 2023, and confirmed by the Senate.

Kristen has spent over a decade analyzing and advocating for a variety of public policy issues in state legislatures throughout the nation.  Kristen served as a state government relations manager for a patient advocacy non-profit, where she led numerous successful state legislative efforts to promote access and affordable treatments for patients with chronic diseases. Kristen's experience in public policy issues dates back to her work in the Nebraska Legislature, first as a legislative aide to a State Senator and later as legal counsel for the Health and Human Services Committee. She also worked for the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, as an administrative law judge. 

Kristen holds a Masters of Public Administration - Public Policy from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, a Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law (Omaha), and her undergraduate degree is from Regis University (Denver). Kristen was admitted to practice law in Iowa and Nebraska; however, she is not currently a practicing attorney. 

Kristen and her husband, Chris, reside in Clive. They have three sons and two daughters.
