Fair Housing Training in Sioux City, Iowa – April 7, 2017

DES MOINES – The Iowa Civil Rights Commission (ICRC) will conduct Fair Housing Training, “Disability, Dogs, and Doors,” in Sioux City, Iowa on April 7, 2017, at the Sioux City Public Museum, 607 Fourth Street. 

From 9:30 to 11:30 am, the ICRC will offer training for developers, architects, and builders regarding the design and construction accessibility requirements for covered multifamily housing complexes.  From 1:00 to 3:00 pm, the ICRC will offer training for landlords and property managers regarding their duty to make reasonable accommodation for persons with disabilities who require assistance animals.

The ICRC will conduct the same training in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on April 28, 2017, at the Cedar Rapids Public Library, Whipple Auditorium, 450 Fifth Street Southeast.
